Based in La Cañada, California, Andy Leeka is the president of Angle Health, a commercial health insurance provider in San Francisco. Andy Leeka has spearheaded the launch of the company’s health plan for clients in the tech industry.
Previously, Andy Leeka spent 24 years as the president and chief executive officer of Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles, a position that involved managing a $318 million budget and 1,450 employees. Under his stewardship, the facility received recognition as one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals. In the past, Andy Leeka has served as the chief executive director at a 240-bed medical relief center in Los Angeles and as an administrative resident at St. Luke Hospital in Pasadena. He has additional experience as a financial analyst for Saint John’s Hospital in Santa Monica.
Andy Leeka earned a master of public health in healthcare administration from UCLA, a master of business administration from California State University Northridge, and a master of arts in organizational behavior from the Philips Graduate Institute and joined the Alpha Beta Chapter of the Alpha Epsilon Lambda Honor Society. He holds additional degrees in psychology and biology from University of California Riverside. In addition to his work at Angle Health, he is an active volunteer.
